Great Britain Anti-Doping Agency announced that old World Champion Tyson Fury’s boxing licence will be given back.
Tyson Fury’s Coming Back to Boxing
Former world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, whose licence was suspended, because of using drugs,will return to the rings. In a statement made by the Great Britain Anti-doping Agency stated that after the negotiation with Fury, they came to an agreement and the suspended license would be given back.
In the statement, it was reported that Fury agreed to take two years’ penalty for the past, and after this period the 29 year old boxer could return to the ring. Fury, said he was very happy with the agreement on his Twitter account and said, “I have left a great nightmare behind me”. I am looking forward to going back to the ring”.
Tyson Fury, who won 25 matches in his career and has not been in the ring since the match against Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015, withdrew from the first rematch set by the Ukrainian opponent, due to his injury, and he also withdrew from the second one, due to his health problem. British boxer Fury gave up the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles in the heavyweight boxing championship by admiting using drugs.
